CGS-12066A je lek koji deluje kao potentan i selektivan agonist za 5-HT1B receptora sa nižim afinitetom za tri 5-HT2 receptorska tipa.[4][5] On se koristi za istraživanje uloge 5-HT1B receptora u različitim procesima uključujući percepciju bola, kao i cikluse spavanja i budnost.[6][7]
