Akvalizin 1 (EC 3.4.21.111, kaldolizin) je enzim.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Ovaj enzim manifestuje nisku specifičnost za estre aminokiselina sa malim hidrofobnim ili aromatičnim ostacima u P1 poziciji
Ovaj enzim iz ekstremnog termofila, Thermus aquaticus, je alkalna serinska peptidaza.
