7-Epi-alfa-selinenska sintaza (EC 4.2.3.86) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom (2E,6E)-farnezil-difosfat difosfat-lijaza (formira 7-epi-alfa-selinen).[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (2E,6E)-farnezil difosfat 7-epi-alfa-selinen + difosfat
Rekombinantni enzim iz Vitis vinifera formira 49,5% (+)-valencena i 35,5% (-)-7-epi-alfa-selinena.
