Dimetilglicin dehidrogenaza (EC 1.5.8.4, N,N-dimetilglicinska oksidaza, N,N-dimetilglicin:(akceptor) oksidoreduktaza (demetilacija), Me2GlyDH) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom N,N-dimetilglicin:elektron-transfer flavoprotein oksidoreduktaza (demetilacija).[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- N,N-dimetilglicin + elektron-transfer flavoprotein + H2O sarkozin + formaldehid + redukovani elektron-transfer flavoprotein
Ovaj enzim je flavoprotein. On sadrži histidil(N3)-(8alfa)FAD vezu.
