Zlatni globus za najbolju originalnu muziku (eng: Best Original Score) je druga najznačajnija američka filmska nagrada za originalnu muziku, koja se dodjeljuje u Los Angelesu za filmska ostvarena nastala 1947. godine. Nagradu dodjeljuje Udruženje holivudskih stranih novinara (HFPA), organizacija sastavljena od novinara koji pokrivaju filmsku industriju Sjedinjenih Država, ali koji su povezani s publikacijama izvan Sjeverne Amerike.

Nagrada je prvi put dodjeljena na 5. dodjeli Zlatnih globusa 1948. godine, za filmska ostvarenja protekle godine. Osim ove kategorije, u filmskoj produkciji dodjeljuju se još nagrade u slijedećim kategorijama: najbolja komedija ili mjuzikl, najbolja režija, najbolji scenarij, najbolji glumac u drami, najbolja glumica u drami, najbolji glumac u komediji ili mjuziklu, najbolja glumica u komediji ili mjuziklu, najbolji sporedni glumac, najbolja sporedna glumica, najbolja drama, najbolji animirani film, najbolji film na stranom jeziku, najbolja pjesma i Zlatni globus za životno djelo - Nagrada "Cecil B. DeMille".

Žiri sačinjava glasačko tijelo Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) od stranih novinara, koji broji 86 članova. Razdoblje lobiranja i prihvaćanja kandidata za nominacije počinje 1. oktobra. Prijenos dodjele Zlatnog globusa uglavnom kotira treći na listi najgledanijih showova dodjele nagrada, iza Oskara i Grammyja. Prije je dodjela emitirana na TBS-u, no od 1996. se emitira na kanalu televizije NBC. Nominacije se objavljuju svake godine sredinom decembra, a nagrade se održavaju krajem ili sredinom januara.
