Ozonski omotač (ozonski sloj ili ozonosfera) (grčki: ozo — mirišem i grčki: sfaira — lopta) je sloj u Zemljinoj atmosferi koji sadrži relativno visoke koncentracije ozona (O3). Ovaj sloj apsorbuje 93-99% sunčeve svetlosti visokih frekvencija (ultravioletna svetlost), koja je štetna za živi svet na Zemlji. Preko 91% ozona u atmosferi je prisutno u ovom sloju. Ozonski omotač se prostire u donjem sloju stratosfere od oko 10 do 50 kilometara iznad Zemlje. NJegova debljina varira u zavisnosti od lokacije i godišnjeg doba.

Ozonski omotač su 1913. otkrili francuski fizičari Šarl Fabri i Anri Bison. Osobine ovog omotača prvi je utvrdio britanski meteorolog Gordon Dobson. Najveća koncentracija ozona zapaža se na visini između 20 i 25 kilometara iznad Zemlje.
