Matthew Barney (25. mart 1967 -) je američki umjetnik koji se bavi kiparstvom, fotografijom, crtanjem i filmom. Na početku karijere je stvarao instalacije kombinirane sa performansima i video artom. Od 1994. do 2002. je stvorio ciklus Cremaster , seriju eksperimentalnih filmova koja se smatra jednim od važnijih ostvarenja filmske avangarde.
