Emile Berliner (20. maj 1851 – 3. august 1929) bio je njemački izumitelj koji je djelovao u SAD, najpoznatiji po tome što je razvio disc gramofonsku (fonografsku) ploču. U Londonu je godine 1895. osnovao The Gramophone Company, godine 1897. u Hanoveru kompaniju Deutsche Grammophon, a potom 1899. u Montrealu Berliner Gram-o-phone Company of Canada.
