Edward Morgan Forster, OM (1.1. 1879 – 7.6. 1970), bio je engleski romanopisac, novelist i esejist. Najpoznatiji je po ironičnim romanima kompliciranih zapleta koji su ispitivali klasne podjele i licemjerje britanskog društva na početku 20. vijeka.
Forster je bio homoseksualac, ali to javnost nije saznala za vrijeme njegovog života.[1]
