Istorija predmeta
Deutsch: Die Hopfenranke mit den drei Hopfendolden unterstreicht die wirtschaftliche Bedeutung des Hopfenanbaus im Gemeindegebiet. Die Dreizahl weist darauf hin, dass sich die Gemeinde Wolfersdorf seit 1977/78 aus den drei früher selbstständigen Gemeinden Wolfersdorf, Berghaselbach und Dürnhaindlfing zusammensetzt. Der Wolf ist aus dem Siegel des Wilhelm von Wolfersdorf (1340-1403) übernommen und erinnert an das Ortsadelsgeschlecht der Wolfersdorfer, die im 14. und im ersten Drittel des 15. Jahrhunderts als Inhaber der Hofmark Wolfersdorf nachweisbar sind. Der Wolf ergibt zugleich ein redendes Bild für den Gemeindenamen.
