Ben Kingsley
Ser Ben Kingsli (eng. Sir Ben Kingsley) je britanski filmski glumac, koji je rođen 31. decembra, 1943. godine u Scarborough (Jorkšir, Engleska).

Rođen kao Krišna Bandži u Scarborough (Jorkšir, Engleska)., od oca Harji Bhanji koji je bio po zanimanju doktor, i majke Anna Lyna Mary koja je radila kao glumica i model. Otac mu je imao indijsko poreklo, a majka jevrejsko. Odrastao je u Pendlebury, Salford, gde je pohađao Pendleton College.
Svoju glumačku karijeru započinje kao pozorišni glumac sedamdesetih godina. Smatrajući da njegovo tadašnje ime (Krišna Bandži) može štetiti njegovoj karijeri, odlučuje se da ga promeni u Ben Kingsli.
Slavu kao filmski glumac stiče sa ulogom Mahatme Gandija u filmu Gandi, za koga je dobio Oskara kao najbolji glavni glumac 1982. godine.
Privatni život [uredi - уреди]
Kingsli ima četvero dece, Thomas and Jasmine Bhanji sa glumicom Angela Morant i Edmund and Ferdinand Kingsley sa Alison Sutcliffe. Odlikovan je Ordenom britanskog carstva (Order of the British Empire), 2000. godine.
